Rules for a better world
- Prices for subscriptions must be stated exactly the way they are billed. A different pricing for a shorter period may be added for clarity, but it must be set in brackets and less eye-catching than the price billed.
- The label "Sugar free" or the likes must not be printed on the box, if artificial sweetness is supplied by other means (like high fructose corn syrup), unless the form of sweetening is printed adjacent to it in the exact same design.
- "Get started for free" or the likes must not be used, if continuing to use a service in the same manner results in costs being generated. The service may start with a reduced set of functionality, but never stop functioning or reduce functionality.
- Payment Information must never be collected when starting a free tier product. Only when upgrading to a higher tier.
- No advertising can imply a sense of urgency, e.g. admission to a show with limited capacity may be reserved for a period of time, but offers for products or services must not expire during selection or purchase.
- The statements "Up to" or "starting at", when referring to pricing, possible gains or savings must be replaced or at least amended by a verifiable "on average" in the exact same design.
- Different Specifications from multiple products of a series must not be combined. Pricing and features must be taken from one example only.
- Distribution of ingredients and product shown through a cutout of the packaging must continue in the same manner throughout the hidden parts of the packaging. Usable product must fill the packaging to no less than 90%.
- Ingredients lists must not include "Flavouring" or similar words. All ingredients must be listed accurately.
